That’s right, we are looking forward to our fourth year of sharing the joy of singing! The Grantham Community Children’s Choir is an interactive, educational, and fun environment where children learn basic music theory and how to sing with others. We would love to have your child join us this year.

Come join us for our first annual campfire sing-a-long on Friday, August 18 at 7:30 p.m. We will meet at the back of the Grantham MB Church parking lot for a time of singing and eating yummy s’mores. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the summer – we hope you’ll join us!

We’re busy picking out fun new songs and activities for our winter session! If you are checking us out for the first time – the Grantham Community Children’s Choir is a fun and interactive choir that introduces children to a variety of musical styles and basic music theory in fun and creative ways. The choir is a great way to instil confidence and develop musical ability in your child.

Thanks again to everyone who participated in our week of Theater Arts Camp. We had a blast! From acting to singing to dancing and puppets, we had a great time putting on our first musical production. Here are some photo’s from our performance of We Haz Jazz!
Our Theater Arts day camp is back again! This year the students will be putting on a musical production entitled We Haz Jazz! Our Theater Arts Day Camp is an exciting week filled with drama games, learning and acting a script, singing, exploring costume and set design, and daily workshops. At the end of the week there will be a performance for family and friends.
When – August 15 – 19, 9 am – 4 pm
Where – Grantham MB Church, 469 Grantham Ave
Who – children entering grade 1 – 8
Cost – $75 per child or $100 per family (2 or more siblings)

Here are some photos from our performance at Chapter’s in December. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the choir and raise money for Mennonite Central Committee’s refugee relief work in various areas around the world. The choir raised just over $180 for refugee relief in December!
We are looking forward to starting up choir rehearsals again! Our choir directors are busy selecting music and we think it will be a great season.
Our winter session kicks off on Wednesday February 3 and runs to April 13.
Who – Boys and girls in grade 1 – 6. What - This is a fun, dynamic choir where children are taught basic music theory, are engaged in fun music games, warm up and train their voices in creative ways and learn a wide variety of music. Each session is topped off with a recital for family and friends! When – Wednesdays from 6:45 – 8:00 p.m. Where – Grantham MB Church, 469 Grantham Ave. Cost – $20 for a 10 week session.
